How filtering works
Every request takes the same path on the server, and an answer appears only after it passed its checks.
Before the model
Profile sign-in, policy loaded from the server, hidden characters and encodings cleaned, personal details removed, and the question and its context checked.
After the model
The whole answer is checked before it is shown. Unchecked text is never streamed. Links are removed on child profiles.
When something fails
If the checking service is down, no answer is shown. The system never quietly switches to another model.
Distress
A learning question about a sensitive topic is not blocked automatically. Someone who says they are struggling gets a supportive reply and a pointer to an adult or a professional.
Limits
The system is not foolproof and is not a therapeutic, medical or religious authority. Any answer can be reported as wrong or over-blocked.
